  Got there 15 minutes early for 11:00 AM services on 5/01/16. No one greeted me other than the guy at the door who handed me the bulletin, he just said, "hi.". I smiled and said hello to a guy with "Information" tag on, he gave me a blank look and didn't acknowledge me. I then sat down in sanctuary, people visited all around me. Two ladies visited right my seat, banging me with a purse, neither said hello, then clammored over me to sit down, then visited with the lady behind me, all happy to see her, then clammored back over me to sit with her. At this point I got up and left. I am new to Clovis and searching for a church home. My husband won't be here for another month. Was it because I came to church as single woman? I don't know. But I can cross this one off my list. The people of Clovis are friendly but the Christians seem cliquey and are not welcoming to strangers. Wonder how they would treat Jesus if He showed up?
